VAL DI FIEMME: Alpine, cross-country and apres-ski skiing at the highest levels

Val di Fiemme is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Alps. The area allows you to practice alpine and Nordic skiing at the highest levels, with state-of-the-art facilities, après-ski opportunities and international sporting events. 50 state-of-the-art ski lifts accompany the 110 km of downhill slopes, 3 well-equipped snow parks and 2 long toboggan runs.


It is surrounded by peaks of rare beauty, such as the spiers of the Latemar, recognized by UNESCO as a "Natural Heritage of Humanity".

The Fiemme-Obereggen ski pass allows you to practice alpine skiing in the naturalistic paradise of the Ski Center Latemar, among the 48 km of slopes that connect Pampeago, Predazzo and Obereggen, framing the Latemar Dolomite group. In the Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia ski area, the ski slopes caress the borders of the Paneveggio Pale di S. Martino Natural Park, one of the "protected" environments that has favored the entry of the Dolomites into the list of privileged landscapes by Unesco. The slopes of Passo Rolle unfold in front of the majestic Pale di S. Martino. And from the Alpe Cermis Skiarea, with its very long Olimpia slope (7.5 km), you can enjoy one of the most exciting panoramas of the Dolomites. Other scenarios on the limestone mountains, which reflect the colors of sunrise and sunset, open up on the Lavazé-Oclini plateau, where alpine skiing meets cross-country skiing.

The night in Val di Fiemme is so loved that you can ski 4 nights out of 7, between the Olimpia 3 slope of Alpe Cermis (from 7.30pm to 10.30pm: every Wednesday, Friday) and the Obereggen slope of the Ski Center Latemar (from 7pm at 10pm: every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).

Obereggen also lights up the 2.5 km long toboggan run and the snow park three nights a week.

The ski pass also offers free access to the municipal swimming pool of Predazzo, the ice stadium of Cavalese, the open-air skating rink of Tesero and night skiing and sledging in Obereggen.

Val di Fiemme is also home to Nordic skiing. The world championships in this specialty have chosen the slopes of Val di Fiemme three times, with cross-country rings able to satisfy even the most demanding skier. The cross-country centers of the Lavazé plateau and Lago di Tesero are renowned and, with the Marcialonga track and the Bellamonte loops, offer 150 km of slopes.

At the end of the day, you can stop for an aperitif on the slopes, perhaps extending the evening with a dinner based on typical dishes, in a mountain hut or in a characteristic mountain refuge.

In the Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia Ski Area you will find the New Chalet 44 Dolomites Lounge, in the Morea area. The restaurant offers a large sunny terrace with a spectacular view of the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai chain.

At Alpe Cermis there is the new Busabella red slope, and also a new refuge, at an altitude of 2,170 m, in the Forcella di Bombasel area. Trentino cuisine and "Italian style", also with fish-based dishes, and a wide choice of wines and aperitifs.

In the Ski Center Latemar the new toboggan run of the Pampeago area opens (400 meters of fun for everyone, young and old); still in Pampeago, a new glamorous look for the Chalet Caserina, with totally renovated furnishings and gourmet cuisine.

PASSO DI LAVAZE' - PASSO OCLINI


In the Oclini area, on the slopes of Corno Bianco and Corno Nero, there are five ski lifts that can be easily reached by road. The area also offers 80 km of cross-country ski trails (1800 m asl) with a center equipped with changing rooms, showers, ski rental and waxing service. All rings are prepared for the classic and free technique.

Children can choose between the Malga Varena snowpark, with three slopes for tubby, one for snowbiking, mono-skiing, sledges and bobsleighs, the Lavazè snowpark with slopes for sledding, bobsleighs, rubber donuts or the Oclini children's park. All with tapis roulant for the ascent, in addition to the Malga Varena ski lift.

On the paths in the woods you can go cross-country skiing, Nordic walking, or walk with snowshoes.

Whizzing around on donuts, tobogganing or bobsleighing. Fun in the snow that all children like. You can find them at Passo Lavazè. Next to the ski lift of the Malga Varena ski school camp, there is an imaginative snow park: the Malga Varena Snowpark. Three tracks for tubby (rubber donuts) and a track for snow bikes, mono-skis, sledges and bobsleds.

A small treadmill allows you to get on and off easily with the different means available to those who pay the entrance (sleds, bobsleds, bikes with skis). While those who want a more articulated descent can go down the slope of about a kilometer and return to Malga Varena with a comfortable ski lift.





PAMPEAGO - PREDAZZO - OBEREGGEN


This ski area, dominated by the Latemar Dolomite group, allows you to move between Trentino and Alto Adige. Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo offer 18 very modern ski lifts which ensure the transport of skiers from 1,550 to 2,500 meters above sea level. In total, 48 kilometers of impeccable slopes.



The Ski Center Latemar offers, during the winter season, a great variety of perfectly groomed slopes, guaranteed snow, extraordinary shows, breathtaking views and delicious cuisine with various possibilities to spend the afternoon in 10 typical refuges with music and entertainment.

And for the evening, more fun. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 19.00 to 22.00, you can ski or toboggan down the illuminated slopes. An opportunity to combine sporting pleasure with the musical pleasure of apres-ski (all included in the weekly or seasonal ski passes).

For snowboarders, strong emotions in the snow park with three jumps and three rails and an 80-metre long halfpipe.

In addition, the Alpine Coaster Gardoné: a monorail sled that guarantees a kilometer of jumps, parabolics, jumps, bumps and breathtaking curves, in total safety and in contact with the uncontaminated nature of the Latemàr woods. This attraction for adults and children can be reached from Predazzo, with the modern Predazzo-Gardoné cable car, at over 1,650 meters above sea level.

Since last winter, the enlarged and improved toboggan run in Obereggen has been equipped with a pedestrian path.


Gastronomy at high altitude: refuges on the slopes and huts surrounded by snow-covered expanses. Still with skis on, you can have a drink in company, letting yourself be carried away by the right atmosphere and perhaps have dinner in a refuge with an exciting snowmobile ride.

Throughout the ski area there is no shortage of opportunities to celebrate, toast and have fun every day after skiing, you'll be spoiled for choice. You can also walk in the snow to reach huts and huts surrounded by woods and Dolomite panoramas.

In the evening, sparkling evenings await you in the clubs in the valley with pleasant musical proposals always in the name of fun!



ALPE CERMIS


This ski area boasts excellent skiability throughout the winter season. Downhill lovers can easily maneuver along the 23 km of slopes of the ski area, which can be accessed from Cavalese.


The offer satisfies novice and more demanding skiers, with the proposal for beginners at an altitude of 2000 and the more demanding Olimpia slope with its 7.5 km in length and 1,400 meters in altitude.

The area is equipped with state-of-the-art lifts with 3 eight-seater gondola lifts, 3 four-seater chairlifts with automatic coupling, 1 ski lift and a first-steps carpet, all completed by high-altitude shelters, where you can taste typical local dishes , ski schools and equipment rental services. Families can take advantage of the magical realm of CermisLandia, a beautiful playground in the snow and a kindergarten, where qualified personnel entertain children with various activities and entertainment, while parents can relax and ski freely.

In front of the start of the lifts in Cavalese there is also the ice stadium.A magical kingdom on the snow in the splendor of the Cermis Alps. We are in Cermislandia: an amusement park in the snow that offers children the opportunity to play outdoors.

It is easy to reach at the intermediate stop of the gondola lift (1,280 m asl), in the locality of Doss dei Laresiè. There are many new features this year: a sled run and one for dinghies-tubing. The Campo Scuola next to Cermislandia is also brand new.

Also not to be missed is the "Via del Bosco", a play track along which children experience an exciting ski adventure to discover the life of the forest through sculptures, games and riddles. And if the weather is bad or it's too cold, everyone inside the kindergarten to play in the warmth or take a nap in the bedtime room.


BELLAMONTE - ALPE LUSIA


The area connects the Fiemme and Fassa valleys through ski slopes for all types of skiers, from beginners to the most expert.

The beginner can learn the rudiments of skiing in our school camps; the expert skier can ski on 25 km of slopes, while the more adventurous can try their hand at acrobatic jumps in our snow parks and boarder-cross.

For those who prefer to immerse themselves in the silence of nature, there is the possibility of following the beaten path, which winds from Morea to Malga Bocche, wearing simple boots, snowshoes, cross-country or mountaineering skis!

The Alpe Lusia Ski Area is a member of the Dolomiti Superski ski area and extends between the Val di Fassa and the Val di Fiemme, in the beating heart of the Unesco Dolomites, next to the Paneveggio Natural Park. The area offers 30 km of slopes that are always perfectly prepared, thanks to the snowmaking programmed throughout the winter season and the use of the most advanced technologies in the sector. The slopes are served by 8 modern lifts, including: 2 10-seater gondola lifts; 2 8-seater gondola lifts; 3 enclosed four-seater chairlifts with automatic coupling and a ski lift.

What if I don't ski?

No fear! As an alternative to skiing, you can treat yourself to an exciting toboggan ride along the Fraina Slittino Slope or a regenerating walk in the snowy woods, followed by a tasty lunch typical of Trentino cuisine at one of the countless refuges present throughout the area.


900 meters of pure fun, for beginners and expert snowboarders. In the panoramic ski area of ​​Bellamonte, on Alpe Lusia, there is a snow park that will allow you to tackle any level of difficulty. The more experienced will be able to improve the technical level more and more.

Beginners will be able to approach this discipline in a safe and fun way. Even the most complex structures, in fact, have been conceived for a gradual approach to the table.

Thanks to its particular organization of spaces, the park allows you to tackle the various structures in sequence: 17 kicks and boxes to try one in a row.


CENTRO FONDO - LAGO DI TESERO


The strong vocation of cross-country skiing in Val di Fiemme has lived for the past half century on the tradition of Marcialonga, on the prestige of having hosted three Nordic Ski World Championships and annually the highly popular Tour de Ski.


The Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Center hosted the World Championships in 2013, 2003 and 1991, hundreds of Cross-Country Skiing World Cups (Tour de Ski and Nordic Combined). The center offers the thrill of skiing on perfectly snow-covered slopes for athletes and tourists who practice the classic technique and skating.From here it is possible to enter directly on the Marcialonga slope.

The use of the slopes is free, both during the day and in the evening when the slopes open twice a week at night.

The center offers services with showers and changing rooms, material rental, and adjacent there is an outdoor ice stadium with skate rental. Track detail:
